Conducted in France and the Czech Republic over 3 campaigns, HYGO was used - on cooperative experimental platforms (in microplots) and in large strips at farmers' sites - for conventional and bio-control applications of fungicides and herbicides on various crops - wheat, barley, rapeseed, maize, beet, potato, peas.
3 types of experiments could be conducted:
+ A complete protocol with 5 modalities: an untreated control, the farmer's usual dose under optimal and non-optimal conditions, and the doses recommended by HYGO under each of these conditions

What trials have shown: a product application carried out in the best conditions works better than an application when conditions are poor. The optimized dose proposed by HYGO gives the same yield as the dose initially planned by the farmer.
